Drexel University Athletic Department POW-MIA National Chair of Honor Dedication November 13, 2015
The Drexel Athletic Department will be partnering with Student Life to honor our still-missing American servicemen by featuring One Empty Seat, the POW-MIA National Chair of Honor, at home men's and women's basketball games and wrestling matches.
The POW-MIA National Chair of Honor "One Empty Seat" is an initiative that was created to help recognize and honor the more than 92,000 American soldiers who are unaccounted for since World War I. These unoccupied seats are dedicated to the memory of the brave men and women and to the sacrifices each made in serving our country.

The chair was dedicated during a special ceremony at the women's basketball home opener against Dartmouth in the Preseason WNIT on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7:00 p.m. The Drexel University Office of Veteran Student Services will also be at that game, collecting items to put into care packages for soldiers currently deployed.
